Widget not displayed: name 'undefined'

The slider as explained in the example at https://github.com/marimo-team/quarto-marimo?tab=readme-ov-file does not show up. Instead the follwing error is displayed after running the code: "NameError: name 'undefined' is not defined".
How resolve this? Thank you.
